From manual labor to smart workflows

Various dates throughout the year

Location: The Hague

PO/PE points: 4 | EUR 425 excluding VAT

About this course

This practical course is intended for lawyers and tax specialists who want to systematically automate their daily work using AI. The focus is not on individual AI tools or occasional use, but on designing and setting up smart workflows in which AI plays a permanent and reliable role.

Many legal and tax professionals already use AI for individual tasks, but continue to work with manual cut-and-paste, separate chats, and ad hoc solutions. In this course, you will learn how to break through that fragmentation and use AI as part of a single, coherent work process.

Program

During the course, you will work hands-on on automating recurring tasks. You will learn how to logically divide tasks, how AI can take over or support these tasks, and how to set up workflows in such a way that they save time without losing control over content.

The instructor demonstrates how this can be implemented in practice using various automation platforms, such as Make and n8n, and how these can be utilized within legal and tax workflows.

The focus is on:

  • identifying tasks that are suitable for automation;

  • designing smart, repeatable AI workflows;

  • linking multiple steps into a single logical and efficient process;

  • the incorporation of checks, quality control moments, and human oversight;

  • the prevention of errors, noise, and unwanted automation.

This course is intended for lawyers and tax specialists who already work with AI but find that their use of it is still too manual and fragmented. For professionals who want to spend less time on repetitive work and create more space for substantive assessment and strategic thinking.

At the end of the course, you will have concrete workflow designs that you can immediately apply and adapt within your own practice, as well as the insight to independently implement further automation.

What are the benefits?

After this course:

  • do you understand which tasks are suitable for AI automation?

  • you can design and set up smart workflows yourself;

  • work more consistently and efficiently, while maintaining professional control;

  • Reduce manual work and fragmented AI deployment.

Automation with AI: From manual labor to smart workflows is not a technical programming course or a tool demo, but a practical course on working smarter with AI, directly applicable in legal and tax practice.
