Practical AI tools for everyday use in taxation
AI is no longer future music: more and more tax professionals are discovering how smart tools make their work faster, clearer and more efficient. In this workshop we will show you how to use AI in your daily practice - without technical prior knowledge and with a focus on immediate results.
Participants learn which possibilities are already available, what to look out for in responsible use and how to integrate AI step by step into your work processes. The goal is practical and concrete: you will go home with insights and skills that you can immediately apply in your own practice the next day.
This workshop will be conducted by:
Thierry Boonstra - Forvis Mazars

The most important skill for working with AI tools is prompting. During this workshop you will learn the art of legal prompting, namely specifically drafting prompts, so that as a criminal justice professional you can use language models so effectively in your daily work.
This workshop will cover, among other things, how to build a prompt, how elaborate you make a prompt and what you want to avoid at all costs.
You will get tips on how to use AI for writing emails, texts and blogs.
Participants will go home with a prompt book, a list of killer prompts that can be used by lawyers in everyday practice.
This workshop will be conducted by:
Frank te Biesebeek - LegalMike
-
This interactive workshop will introduce you to the capabilities of Custom GPTs and how you can use them practically in your own work. We start with a brief introduction to terminology: what is the difference between ChatGPT, Custom GPTs and Assistants via APIs, and what prompting techniques can you use to achieve better results?
Then the trainer shows how to build a Custom GPT step by step with OpenAI and gives inspiring examples of his own applications, including in workflows that save time and increase quality.
Then you get to work on your own. In small groups, you come up with your own idea for a Custom GPT and work together to create a suitable prompt. One of the group ideas will be turned into a working GPT right on the spot, so everyone can see how the process works in practice.
Because not every participant has a paid account, the trainer ensures that all remaining group prompts are converted and shared afterwards. So you walk away with concrete examples and tools to continue experimenting yourself.
This workshop will be conducted by:
Joyce Boonstra - The Innovative Lawyer
-
Do you already have experience with language models such as ChatGPT and want to deepen your skills? Then this in-depth workshop is especially designed for you. You will learn how to use AI in an even smarter and more targeted way within your legal practice.
What to expect.

Deploying Deep research
Chat GPT Agent Mode
And more...

In one compact workshop, Casper and Hidde show how to use AI to turn legal knowledge into podcasts, articles, infographics and short videos about judgments.
They start with their own business and build a cohesive set of content from there that you can use on multiple channels.
Casper and Hidde have over 6 years of experience creating legal content, and we show how they use AI in the way they work to accelerate research, creativity and content creation without losing accuracy or nuance.
By the end of this workshop, you'll have practical templates, sample texts and prompt packages, plus clear instructions for maintaining your own tone and style.
Finally, they will show live how our viral project "Classic Judgments in Pictures" came about and how you can use those tips to experiment with making AI videos yourself.
This workshop will be conducted by Casper de Jong and Hidde Bruinsma.

The use of AI raises new legal questions, including in the areas of IP law, privacy law and the prevention of undesirable forms of discrimination. These will also have to be taken into account in the procurement and contracting of AI.
Jeroen Naves is a lawyer and partner at Pels Rijcken. He specializes in technology and law, and has been advising on the procurement and use of AI for years. For example, at the request of the European Commission, Jeroen drafted standard terms and conditions for the procurement of AI by public organizations. Commissioned by the municipality of Amsterdam, Jeroen drafted procurement terms and conditions for the procurement of fair algorithms.
In this session, Jeroen considers questions such as:
What particular legal risks may arise from the use of AI?
What are terms you can agree with an AI vendor in order to mitigate such risks?
What best practices are available?
How to ensure proportional arrangements?
This workshop will be conducted by: Jeroen Naves | Pels Rijcken

During the workshop, the speakers cover:
Challenges and opportunities of AI
What an AI strategy entails
Why a thoughtful AI strategy is crucial in the current era
The core components of an effective AI strategy
Analyzing opportunities and risks of AI tools
The first steps to your own AI strategy
Best practices for responsible AI implementation

During this interactive session, you will get answers to frequently asked questions, such as:
How do I stay within the frameworks of the AVG and AI-Act when using AI?
What documentation and agreements are needed to be compliant?
Do I need to get permission from my clients when I want to use AI?
How do I fulfill my transparency obligation?
What does ISO certification mean in the context of security and AI?
Can I use American providers?
The workshop is specially designed for tax professionals, with plenty of room for questions, practical examples and concrete tools that you can immediately apply within your own organization.
