About this course

The promise of AI sounds tempting. The reality is more challenging.

Everyone is talking about AI. But as a lawyer, you don't want hype—you want results. Concrete tools that speed up your work, deepen your research, and give you more time for what really matters: your clients.

The problem? There are now hundreds of AI tools. Some promise mountains of gold, others mainly deliver noise. How do you separate the wheat from the chaff? Where do you start?

This course gives you that starting point.

We start with the basics: what AI really is, how to use it safely and responsibly within professional guidelines, and what categories of tools exist. No abstract theory, just practical tools.

Then we get to work.

You will see a variety of tools in action—from broad language models such as ChatGPT and Claude to specialized solutions for legal research. We will demonstrate tools that work with legal publishers and explain the technology behind them. This will help you understand not only what they do, but also why the output differs.

During the course, we will demonstrate at least four tools: two general tools and two specialized tools for legal research. You will discover how to combine them effectively for maximum results.

Relevance comes first.

For each edition, we tailor the tool selection to the participants' backgrounds. Do you work in corporate law? Then you will see different applications than a criminal lawyer. This ensures that each course remains focused and applicable to your practice.

Afterwards, you will know exactly:

  • Which AI tools are relevant to your work

  • How to use them safely and effectively

  • Where the possibilities and limitations lie

  • How you can get started right away tomorrow

Not a miracle cure. But a smarter lawyer.
